What happens to your details

Short version: the contact form sends me an email and nothing else happens. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third-party servers.

What I collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, which service line your enquiry is about, and your message. Nothing is collected if you simply read the site.

Why, and on what basis

To reply to you. The lawful basis is legitimate interest — you asked me a question and expect an answer. If your enquiry becomes an engagement, the basis becomes performance of a contract.

Where it goes

The form posts to a script on this site's own hosting, which sends the contents to my mailbox at geis@grcprisma.com and keeps no copy. The site and the mailbox are both hosted by Hostinger. Your details are not sold, shared, or passed to any third-party form service, mailing list, or advertiser.

The server keeps a short-lived record of the IP addresses that submit the form, purely to stop the same address flooding it. Those records expire within the hour.

How long I keep it

Enquiry emails stay in my mailbox while they are useful and are deleted once they are not. If we work together, the records that follow are kept for the six years UK bookkeeping and tax rules require.

Your rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it — email geis@grcprisma.com and I will action it. If you are not satisfied with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
